So I decided to create my own personal website and use it in educational activities, and began something that I had never done.

Relevance of website creation:

Today's reality is that the informatization of education does not stand still and new technologies make it possible to communicate more closely with students, parents and colleagues.

The life of a modern person cannot be imagined without the Internet. And job seekers, creative teachers – without a website.

Any innovation is a response to the demands of the time, a way to solve current problems. The creation and use of a personal website indicates that the teacher works in the modern information space, uses information and communication technologies that help him find relevant information and share it with colleagues, disseminate his teaching experience, and work with parents and students at the modern level.

The website is the most modern and, in my opinion, effective communication channel. The capabilities of the Internet site allow you to fully use all methods of conveying an information message to the user.

The concept of “site” has now become very widespread and has become firmly entrenched in our vocabulary. This is largely due to the development of the Internet and its active use. Creating a website allowed me to:

  • organize interaction between teachers, parents and students;
  • gain interactive skills;
  • increase the level of ICT competence.

Working with the site, I climb the steps of mastery higher and higher and learn more and more in the information space, and this affects the quality of my work. I won’t undertake to estimate how much I managed to learn, but I discovered a small paradox for myself: “As you learn more, you realize how little you really know.”

I'd like to end my talk with Bill Gates saying, "All the computers in the world won't make a difference without passionate learners, knowledgeable and dedicated teachers, caring and knowledgeable parents, and a society that emphasizes the value of lifelong learning."

My portfolio

The choice of my future profession was predetermined, and how could it be otherwise! My mother is a teacher. As a little girl, I was very proud that my mother was a teacher. I came to her group, played with the children, helped put them to bed. Waking up at night, I often saw my mother making something, drilling, painting and gluing. My friends and I at school were thinking about where to go to study. There were many options, but the love for my mother’s profession, rooted in childhood, still took its toll.

And then everything goes according to the script...

Starting my career as a teacher-speech therapist, I well understood that it would be quite difficult for me to establish myself as a specialist in a team of highly professional teachers, and that I had only one path - this is the path of developing my abilities, the path of transforming abilities into skills, which is what Maslow called self-actualization. In my understanding, an accomplished person is one who knows how to do his job in a way that no one else can do it. I don't mean "do better than everyone else", I mean do your own thing in your own way, your own style. But without the help of partners it is impossible to grow upward.

The advice of many of them helped me understand the peculiarities of working with children in general, prepared me for the fact that not everything will work out right away, that after certain and even significant successes, children may experience recessions. I clearly learned that you need to work regardless of your mood and that you are unlikely to achieve anything if you work occasionally; James also said that acquiring skills requires continuous work.

I realized that to be a good professional, you need activity, which I regard as internal mobility, constructive and creative use of one’s strengths, as well as methodfulness - the ability to move forward, stepping from step to step, carefully recording all successes and failures, correcting mistakes and shortcomings.

Gradually, I realized that the work of a speech therapist is very multifaceted, like a diamond, but a diamond is not yet a diamond, it still needs to be polished so that the edges turn out to be very beautiful. And so I polish these edges…….

Edge of learning. A modern teacher - speech therapist - is, of course, a comprehensively developed, educated person. His own subject, his own area of ​​knowledge are leading for him.

The next facet of a speech therapist’s activity, which I cannot ignore, is the analytical component of his work. “A teacher who knows how to analyze his work becomes strong and experienced” V.A. Sukhomlinsky. I believe that the path to analytical competence as a teacher begins with intrinsic motivation. For me, the motive “to learn something new, to understand, to correct, to regulate” is the starting point of the research process.

The line without which everything loses a certain meaning is the study of the child, the characteristics of his speech development. This line is not simple; it is associated with professional, aesthetic and legal restrictions. It is important to be able not only to interpret the result obtained, but most importantly, to be responsible for it. Whatever the speech disorder, it is always unique, just as every person is unique and inimitable. Working with children, I am each time surprised by the variety of manifestations, ease, or conflicts of the correction process in each individual case.

Polishing the edge of my activity - I must say that for me an activity is a kind of action. In order for it to capture and captivate the child, force him to be active, I must fill it not only with corrective content, but also with entertaining meaning. I am happy when I see that a child “spreads the wings” of his abilities and skills and takes a step towards success in mastering speech.

We can talk for a very long time about the features of organizing a developmental space in a speech therapy room, which is another equally important aspect. Space educates, space develops, space affects emotionally.....

I can say that I tried to create it not only in accordance with the requirements for a speech therapy room, but also to introduce a personal aspect into its design, into filling it with meaningful and interesting games and manuals, many of which I made myself. I see how children come to class, they are surprised that today they are greeted by a crow with a naughty tongue “Karkusha”, which must be taught to pronounce sounds, a doll Dasha, which helps children travel through the “Speech Clearing” for the development of all components of speech, the sensorimotor zone in in which children can choose, according to their needs, any simulator for the development of motor skills, a “logo constructor”, a “sandbox” and much more.

The process of changing and replenishing the development environment of the office is an integral and important function in the work of a specialist. Through it, the child enters such a fascinating world of diverse relationships, learns to analyze, classify, communicate, learns to enjoy the manifestation of volitional efforts, learns to rejoice. I see great meaning in this.

Don't just turn a diamond into a diamond! Determining the future facets of a specialist’s work and polishing them is not an easy matter. It is important not to miss an important line in this process. Today I have determined for myself the line of interaction with the parents of my students. For now, I’m trying to see in them not “an object of my influence,” but an “equal partner in the correctional process.”

I am a speech therapist!

And this is an important facet of my happiness. All my knowledge, all my experience, all my spiritual strength is for them, and together we create: we make the difficult familiar, the familiar we make easy, the easy with beautiful and correct speech! Every time I feel an incredible sense of joy for the children’s successes, I am convinced that the chosen profession is important, necessary, necessary.

Being a speech therapist is like being a Phoenix bird: burning and being reborn and listening to yourself every time: will something in your soul respond to meeting new children? Will experience and knowledge of how to do it grow through “professional skill”? Otherwise I wouldn’t be a speech therapist! It's not easy to share experiences. Not because you are afraid to suddenly bare your soul - no, because it seems impossible to foresee all the important little things that make up what has been accumulated over the years. Every year in the month of May I attend the graduation ceremony. I listen to my students with bated breath and tears in my eyes. I believe that they will become good people, and in their pure, beautiful and correct speech my voice will be heard...

To my mother, I want to say a big thank you for bringing me to this profession, passing it on as an inheritance, and maybe my daughter will extend our teaching dynasty!!!
