File of tasks for audio automation R
Speech material in tasks is traditionally divided depending on the position of the automated sound in the word. The tasks can be used to develop phonemic awareness and expand the vocabulary of preschoolers. If the child does not have the sounds [S], [SH], [L] and others, it is not recommended to pronounce words with these sounds. In practice, speech therapists can vary the order of tasks.

Game 2. Speech outdoor game “Storm”
You can play this game using the sound R as two or three people, or even with a group. One person is the leader. He represents the wind. It is necessary for the child to sit on a chair at this time (this will avoid unnecessary distractions) and pretend to be the wind. Wind can be represented in two ways:
- “start the engine - drrrrr” (R sound with vibration). RRRRR - the storm has begun.
- the mouth is open, the tongue is wide behind the upper teeth on the alveoli. The child blows on his tongue - a dull sound is produced, which is called “proto r”.
All other players are trees. When the wind blows, the trees sway to the sides (raise your arms up and swing your torso). As soon as the wind stops blowing, the trees should instantly stop and freeze. Those who do not have time to stop become the wind. If everyone is attentive and stops on time, then after 3-4 repetitions of the game you need to change roles.
Game 5. Mobile speech game “Wolf”
To play, you need to discuss in advance where the “wolf’s lair” will be and where “our home” will be. The leader - a wolf - sits in his lair. Other players leave the “house” and approach the “wolf’s lair”. They begin to tease the wolf:
Wolf - top
Gray barrel!
Don't lie on the stove!
Give us some rolls!
“RRR,” the wolf growls angrily. At this signal, the players run away to their “home”, and the wolf catches up with them. If a wolf hits a player, he becomes a wolf.
Useful methodological literature
A year and a half ago, the blog contained articles about speech therapy games for the automation of Z-S-C , as well as for the development of G-K-H . Every time I try to choose interesting methodological publications. Some are designed specifically for the game form of classes. Here are a few of them:
- Board game “To the circus with the cleaver Roma” . The game is fun and simple, for older kindergarten age. It will teach children to listen to partners, perceive “r” by ear and pronounce it correctly.
- "10 games with the sounds R, R" . Educational play set for children 4-10 years old. Consists of ready-made subject cards and tokens. A very useful thing: it simultaneously develops memory, pronunciation, motor skills, imagination and creative thinking.
- Speech therapy lotto for automation R, Rb . This is exactly what is needed in the context of today's article. The set includes 120 cards with images, they will help diversify activities and play various games.
- Book “Funny growls: correction of sounds R, R” . It is small but contains extensive material to improve your pronunciation. It will help reduce the time of automation of “r” even in children for whom the process is difficult.
- Home notebook for speech therapy classes on the pronunciation of “r” . Helper for mom. There are not games, but useful sayings: rhymes, sayings, etc.
There are a lot of good, competent, inexpensive publications. You can simply enter the query “sound r” in the search bar at Uchmag. You'll see, the search will reveal a lot of interesting things.
